With underfloor heating systems slowly gaining more and more popularity, flooring fitters, surveyors and sales people now have an extra helping hand in the form of a new, free of charge app available for use on all smartphones.

The apps intended use is to aid engineers and technicians in assessing which underfloor heating system would be most suited to any particular situation. Created by underfloor heating company Timoleon, the app will give valuable information to the user on all aspects of underfloor heating, from the compatibility with different types of flooring to understanding how different kinds of underfloor heating systems work.

The effectiveness of underfloor heating is affected by many different variables, including installation, heat transference and the steady maintenance of water temperature. It is thought that in the future this new smartphone underfloor heating app will begin to slowly phase out the presently used system of ready-reckoners. As is the case with smartphones, there’s an app for everything!
