A new Hull health centre featuring state of the art underfloor heating is one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the region, according to construction contractors Binks Building Services.
The Wilberforce Health Centre cost £16.5 million and is due to open in December. Its modular system was fabricated off-site and features rainwater harvesting, constant hot and boosted cold water, plus low pressure hot water boilers for the underfloor heating system, ensuring comfort throughout.
The health centre is located in Hull’s city centre, and will be home to a GP service, a dentist and a health counsellor, as well as a handy base for paramedics. All of them will be cosy throughout Humberside’s cool summers and freezing winters due to its innovative and efficient underfloor heating system.
