When Daikin approached Terra Therma to assist Millflower Developments on their 117 Wingletye Lane project, it was clear from the outset that they were an open-minded company willing to experiment and invest in new technologies, in order to offer their customers the very best homes possible. At Terra Therma we welcome the chance to work with any clients new to the world of renewable heating, and go out of our way to ensure the correct plant and equipment is selected for installation. The large three storey designer home has a number of innovative features that the Terra Therma team had never previously come across. It was clear that renewable technology, in this case an air source heat pump would complete the package and take the build into the next level. Initially apprehensive about the technology, Millfower’s directors were forward-thinking enough to see the benefits of providing a home non-reliant on fossil fuels, whilst being nearly 4 times as efficient as a conventional boiler-fed home. Despite being on unfamiliar territory as regards heat pumps, Millfower Developments have now embraced the opportunities offered by green technology. Furthermore, the Terra Therma team are delighted that Millflower has committed to using our jointless manifold plumbing and press?t pipe system on all future projects.
