Terra Therma has successfully supplied, installed and commissioned an 11kW DAIKIN ALTHERMA Air Source Heat Pump to a newly built Eco Friendly home in Essex. EJ Taylor & Sons Ltd were employed to build the Property in Essex.
Terra Therma were asked to offer their expertise to Design, Supply and install the in screed Wet Underfloor heating system to the ground floor and our bespoke routed Wood 22 floor heating system for the timber first floor.
From start to finish Terra Therma has supplied a total sustainable system further reducing the impact of construction! The Air Source Heat Pump was supplied and installed by Terra Therma; due to sensitivity over noise levels Terra Therma opted to install the Split System heat pump from Daikin Altherma, which enables the outdoor fan unit to be positioned up to some 70 meters from the property.
The internal hydrobox was seamlessly coupled to the 200ltr Daikin Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump Cylinder and space heating via our Underfloor heating system to both ground and first floor.
The innovative Wood 22 system was used which not only provides a load bearing moisture resistance V313 chipboard but more importantly it provides a “JOINTLESS” 16mm PE-Xa underfloor heating system, specially designed to receive the lower temperatures supplied by Heat Pumps, unlike all other timber floor solutions currently available in the UK!
