Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
Terra Therma works only with MCS certified Equipment and providers to install Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs) and solar thermal systems.
The MCS is supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) who certify that the renewable energy products we supply, comply with a set of quality product requirements.
The MCS is a requirement to qualify for the government’s financial incentives, which include the Feed-in Tariff, Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Renewable Heat Premium Phase 2 schemes.
Visit http://www.microgenerationcertification.org/ for further information about the MCS.
Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Scheme
The introduction of the RHI scheme is to encourage consumers to install renewable energy heating technologies, such as a Terra Therma Ground Source Heat Pump, or Air Source Heat Pump.
The RHI scheme provides financial support for the installation of renewable energy heat technologies. Fur further information about the RHI scheme and to check your eligibility, visit http://www.decc.gov.uk/ orhttp://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/.
